Try this drink from bar pro Franky Marshall named for the black cloaks worn by Dominican friars.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 ounces Plymouth gin
  • 1 1/2 ounces Pierre Ferrand Pineau des Charentes Selection
  • 1/2 ounce Luxardo maraschino liqueur
  • Garnish: lemon twist

Directions

  1. Add all ingredients into a mixing glass with ice and stir until well-chilled.
  2. Strain into a cocktail glass.
  3. Twist a slice of lemon peel over the drink to express its oils and drop the twist into the drink to garnish.
