Dramble
In this riff on the Bramble from bartender Kara Anderson, the honeyed fruits and floral notes of Dewar's 12-year-old scotch play well with the Briottet crème de mûre liqueur while taking the drink in an entirely different direction.

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 oz Dewar's 12-year-old scotch
  • 1 oz Freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz Monin orange syrup
  • Briottet crème de mûre liqueur
  • Garnish: Lemon twist

Directions

  1. Combine the scotch, lemon juice and syrup in a shaker with ice, and shake.
  2. Fine-strain into a hurricane glass over crushed ice, and drizzle with the liqueur.
  3. Garnish with a lemon twist.
