Sakura-Chan
This sake-based cocktail by Warren Lindsay of Andaz Tokyo is inspired by beautiful cherry blossoms.

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 ounces Hakkaisan sake
  • 1/2 ounce sakura liqueur
  • 1 dash lemon juice
  • 1/2 ounce kirsch from a jar of Griotte cherries in kirsch
  • Garnish: sakura flower
  • Garnish: Griotte cherry

Directions

  1. Add the sake, sakura liqueur, and lemon juice into a mixing glass with ice and stir until well-chilled.
  2. Strain into a sake glass over a large ice cube.
  3. Float the kirsch from a jar of Griotte cherries over the top of the drink.
  4. Garnish with a sakura flower and a griotte cherry.
